“Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit” is a video game inspired by the popular anime/manga Dragon Ball Z. It introduces new features such as video segments between battles and an online mode. The story mode, named Z Chronicles, spans from the Saiyan saga to the Cell Saga. Players can execute punches, kicks, and guard moves, and use a “ki” button to launch smaller energy balls when sufficient energy is available. Connecting this with a combo’s end triggers a special move. There are three skill types: Special Moves, including abilities like the Kamehameha Wave and becoming a Super Saiyan, Physical, such as Zanku Fist, and Equipment, offering boosts like increased defense. Players can also collect Dragon Balls. Oonce all are gathered, Oolong appears and summons Shenron, offering a choice of three Breakthrough capsules, which enable a character’s full range of moves and skills. The game’s roster includes 23 playable characters. Initially, Cui was intended as a playable character, but was replaced by Great Saiyaman, the only character from the Majin Buu storyline in the game, as suggested by the game’s voice files.
